Memphis C. S. Lewis Society Minutes of April 10, 2005 meeting Library - Memphis Theological Seminary Present: Barry Anderson, Dennis Beets, Tom Boulden, Bill Cupo, Janet Cupo, Rebecca Cupo, Mike Embry, Alex Gray, Knick Knickerbocker, Ann Marty, Bill Marty, David Moose, Judy Moose, Pam Proietti, Bob Tyson. Knick Knickerbocker opened the meeting with prayer. Bill Marty reminded everyone about the Christianity in the Academy Conference held on April 22, 2005 at the University of Memphis. Tom Boulden presented a framed copy of the 1947 Time Magazine featured C.S. Lewis on the cover. The frame will be displayed in the MTS library as a part of the CSL Collection. The program featured a presentation by Pam Proietti on the Life and Writings of Charles Williams" and a group discussion of material. The next meeting will be on May 8 and the program will be a discussion of chapters 1-3 of Williams' The Forgiveness of Sins. |
