Memphis C. S. Lewis Society Minutes of March 16, 2003 meeting Brockwell Room - Memphis Theological Seminary Present: Barry Anderson, Dennis Beets, Tom Boulden, Brian Carter, Bill Cupo, Janet Cupo, Patrick Gray, Don Johnson, Teresa Johnson, Knick Knickerbocker, Sandi Knickerbocker, Ann Marty, Bill Marty, Steve McClesky, Hal Poe, Joy White, Owen White Dennis Beets opened the meeting with prayer. Bill Marty announced "Christianity and the Academy Conference" at the University of Memphis on April 4, 2003. The theme will be "Christian Intellectual Life in the New Dark Age" and the keynote speaker will be Dr. Charles Turner. The program was a discussion of an essay in Christian Reflections, "Religion: Reality or Substitute." The next meeting will be on April 13.
